The Microsoft Word app only allows a limited number of uses before it requires you to sign in / sign up to edit and save Word documents. We encourage students to sign in / sign up sooner rather than later to avoid being unable to edit and save documents.
If you already have a Microsoft account, tap the Sign in button and enter your email and password.
If you don’t have a Microsoft account, the sign up process is free* and will only take a few minutes to complete – and you can use your Gmail address to sign up.

*Provided that you are using the university issued tablet device or a device with a screen size equal to 10.1 inches or less.
